When do I initiate a private investigation?

A private detective will investigate for you if you have suspicions that:

• Your partner, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife commits adultery during the relationship;
• Your husband or wife is unfaithful during the marriage or that your boyfriend or girlfriend is cheating on you;
• Your ex-partner is cohabiting with a new partner, on the basis of which you are wrongly paying alimony;
• You no longer feel safe at home, at work or on the street, after stalking or extortion.

What does a private-detective investigation consist of?

In most cases, we conduct investigations by observing and shadowing partners. This mostly happens when there are suspicions of adultery or cheating. We also conduct alimony investigations if an ex-partner is found to be living together with a new partner after the divorce, as stated in Article 1:160 of the Dutch Civil Code. In that case, the spouse wrongly pays alimony to the ex-partner. Alimony investigation can then lead to the complete cessation of payment of alimony. With qualitative alimony research, we have been saving our clients tens to hundreds of thousands of euros for more than 20 years.
